Our desire is to be an equipping and sending church to send out heralds that declare His glory among the nations. We join the psalmist in calling the peoples of the world to join in praising His name (Psalm 117).

We believe that because the world does not praise and glorify our God, we need to be engaged in evangelism and church planting, leadership development, and Bible translation as many languages are yet to have a translation of God’s Word. 

The most exciting week at Westover each year seems to be our annual world missions conference—Worldfest. This is where we get to hear what God is doing around the world from our missionaries. It kicks off on Sunday morning during our Connection Class time and ends on Wednesday evening. Each day we hear ministry updates from different missionaries, enjoy preaching, testimonies, and evening meals together. We also have a children’s conference during the week.
